2016….I love you already. For real. It’s only April and you’ve been so good to me with the absolute BEST clients at the COOLEST locations (how awesome and versatile is our city?!) and the PRETTIEST weather! I pray you continue to shine your loveliness on the rest of 2016 for me!

Mike & Kimberly. These two are so completely in love. It. is. palpable.

I’m gonna back up a bit and tell you HOW I met Kim and Mike…… I posted about a Model Call a few weeks ago, because I’m looking to branch into engagement and wedding photography in the latter part of 2016 (eek…more on that soon!). Kim had been following me on Instagram (oh hey, you can too, if you’re not already by clicking here!) and was the first to respond to my model call within a few minutes of posting it! After some emailing back and forth, I think we both knew this was going to work out P.E.R.F.E.C.T.L.Y.

I met Kim and Mike in the central west end to kick off our engagement session. And now again, I’ll say….these two. I mean, they couldn’t be cuter. They couldn’t be more in love. They couldn’t laugh more with anyone else in the world. They just “got each other”, you know? It was the easiest hour. There weren’t many cues given by me to get them to interact…..they just did what they did best which was nuzzle, whisper, giggle and love. I felt like I was almost intruding on this wonderful date night for them…..and then I felt AMAZINGLY special that I was able to capture this awesome night for them. Just a glimpse into almost a year of marriage, with a  baby on the way. A frozen moment and night in time, to savor and show their son one day, the love that existed that led to his creation.

I tell you what, if that is engagement photography then….SIGN. ME. UP. I’m in.
