Reason #542 why I love this job….I get to be a part of your child’s first year when you book an All About Baby package (one of my most popular packages for sure)! From maternity pictures and watching the parents’ anticipation and excitement grow as they are just WEEKS away from meeting their angel, to then the newborn photos, where I get to put a sweet face to a perfect name…..oh and also, get to enjoy some awesome newborn cuddles! 😉 To then either the 6 month photos or the first year photos (whichever the parents choose) where I get to see the personality that this tiny human has taken on and the light in the eyes of these parents, that I have now grown to know and love overtime, as this precious child looks up at them or (*gasp) takes some of their first steps at our session. You have NO idea how honored I am that you have chosen ME as your photographer to be a part of such wonderful milestones and moments in your and your baby’s life.
I have had the GREAT pleasure to photograph, oh about 5 One year olds, in the past month that I will be blogging about in the next few weeks. First up….Sweet Mackenzie, also known sweetly as “Mazie”. Mazie is ONE! This session I just couldn’t stop smiling…..no, GIGGLING is a better word, behind my camera! This little girl had me just laughing when we did her cake smash and bubble bath. She knew exactly what to do with that cake and make no mistake about it….she PERFECTED it. I’m pretty sure she looked at both her parents and me when we took the cake away like “um, WHY on earth would you ever take that away?”
And if you book a cake smash with me and you’re wondering “should we do a bubble bath afterwards or no?”…..the answer is YES! Yes, you should! I just ADORE these pictures….whether its in your tub in your bathroom or a beautiful vintage tin tub in your backyard…..there is not much in this world cuter than a baby in a bubble bath!
So HAPPY ONE YEAR Mazie! I am SO lucky I got to watch you grow this past year and get to know you and your incredible parents! I hope to continue to photograph you many many more times 🙂
